Cost and
Lodging
The cost for the JD 2009 weekend is $60 CASH. This payment,
due by registration, will cover everything for the weekend, except for a room
to stay in. Rooms in the Atpūtas Nams ("Rest Home") cost $44
per night (This money goes to the NY Draudze). Each room has 2 beds, but
can easily accommodate 3 to 4 people, or even more. Please understand
that due to the low number of rooms available in the Atpūtas Nams and the
expected higher turn-out, people will probably not be able to get a room
to themselves (remember that sharing a room lowers your cost for the
room). We will be actively encouraging that people share rooms.
Rooms will also be available in the Ezeru Māju ("Lake House"). Please
remember, we will only be accepting Cash.
Pricing Examples: Why it's good to share!
- 1 lonely person spending two nights in the Atpūtas Nams will pay a
total of $148 for the entire weekend.
- 2 people sharing a room and spending two nights in the Atpūtas Nams
will pay a total of $104 each for the entire weekend.
- 3 people sharing a room and spending two nights in the Atpūtas Nams will
pay a total of $90 each for the entire weekend.
- 4 people sharing a room and spending two nights in the Atpūtas Nams will
pay a total of $82 each for the entire weekend.
Room money does not go to FLJRK, it goes to NY Draudze!
But, what If I can’t
make the entire JD2009 Weekend?
Spending only Friday night at JD2009 (showing up Friday and leaving Saturday
during the day) will cost $20 plus the cost for a room.
Joining us at JD2009 on Saturday during the day will cost $30 plus the cost for
a room.
Showing up for the Balle only will cost $10.
Dinner = $5
Some price adjustments may occur.
Will there be any other
Costs?
A Bar for those of age will be serving $1/ $2 shots and mixers on Friday night
and at the balle, Saturday. Jello shots will also be available for a $1.

Directions
From the South: NY Thruway (I-87) to exit # 20 (Saugerties). Then
take routes 32, 32A and 23A to Tannersville (about 15 miles from the Thruway
exit) - just follow signs for Hunter Mountain.
From the North: NY Thruway (I-87) to exit #21 (Catskill). Then take 23, 9W and
23A to Tannersville.
- As you enter the town of Tannersville, make a left at the
first and only light onto Country Road 16. Go approx 1.7 miles and
bear right onto Elka Park Road which will be the 2nd
road on the right. Follow this road for about 1/2 mile. Once
you've crossed over the bridge, make a sharp right turn onto Green Hill Rd. Follow the
steep hill up and around the bend to the left for about .7
miles. Look for a large brown house (Atpūtas Nams) on the left and
park in the parking lot.
FLJRK - JD 2009 - Weekend Rules
1. No Driving!!!
2. Use ONLY the Bathrooms in the Ezeru Māju and Atpūtas Nams!!!
3. DO NOT GO ON THE LAKE!!!
4. If anything gets broken (Glass, Bottles, Anything) - Please let
us know, so that it can be cleaned up, for everyone's safety.
